offering: Structural Mechanics
As far as structural mechanics is concerned, Atena collaborates with
the design department for layout, sizing and optimizing structural components
and prepares the required verification documents.
In aerospace analysis, Atena’s core competencies include linear and non-linear
static and dynamic stress calculations. Atena maintains company-owned
resources for FE analysis by means of various tools such as Nastran/Patran,
Abaqus, Medina and Hyper Mesh. Our offering covers the entire process
chain from FE modeling, through calculation to evaluation.
Verification according to CS/FAR will be done using recognized calculation
methods according to HSB and other standard literature. The results will
then be documented by compiling stress reports for product certification.
Addressing dynamic problems, Atena offers expertise in modal and transient
analysis. For example, Atena conducts impact simulations for failure scenarios
in aircraft components and suggests specific solutions. The results of
the analyses will then be verified by practical material tests and integrated
into component optimization to ensure maximum aircraft safety.
In addition, Atena is able to apply many years of experience and proven
methods from automotive and Turbo Machines. Thus our customers benefit from
synergies between aerospace, gas
turbines and automotive.
In collaboration with Turbo Machines und energy, we are also able to conduct aero- and/or thermodynamic simulations.
