In the field of crash simulation, Atena has specialized in innovative
areas. Our portfolio in airbags includes not only comprehensive studies
of perforation solutions with complex contact and failure definitions
but also analyses of model set-up, folding, validation and FPM (Finite
Point Method).
Other key areas are passenger safety (e.g. simulation of head impact
conditions according to FMVSS201) as well as pedestrian safety. In this
field, Atena has ample experience in working with new concepts which may
include the use of airbags.
